*This contest is open to all FFA chapters across the United States. Advisors must sign up their chapter below to participate.*
Members will discover what it really takes to feed the world through sustainability-based farming game, Farmers 2050. They must make it to level 5 in the game to create or join a team to participate in the National FFA Convention Global Event Challenge.
Important: Please include both your state and chapter in your team name(s) in the game. As this contest is open across the US, we will need to be able to identify your chapter if you win!
Option for advisors to set-up their Farmers 2050 team in advance (by playing to level 5), designate a specific member to play in advance and set-up, or simply inform members that the first one to level 5 will have to make the team using the parameters above!
Up to 50 players can play on one team. More teams = more chances to WIN!*
*Participating teams will be scored individually for prizing.
Players must complete the actions indicated in the Global Event to earn points for their team. The Global Event gameplay will run from 10:00am October 10, 2024 – 10:00pm October 24, 2024 EST.
The top three teams will be announced on Friday, October 25 at Nutrien Ag Solution’s booth at National FFA Convention and livestreamed on Nutrien Ag Solutions and Farmers 2050 social media channels. Winners will be contacted directly and do not need to be in attendance to win.
Third place will win $250, second place will win $500, and the top team will win $1000 for their FFA chapter!
